When baking or cooking, measuring ingredients by weight is more precise than measuring by volume. It can save time and cleanup effort too!
Values can be entered as whole numbers, floating point numbers, or fractions. For example, the following are all valid input values:

  • 3/2
A resulting value of NaN means that there was an error with the input value. Conversions can be made from volume to weight and vice versa.
